Mo Verhoeven is dit jaar de eerste die het station opent. De komende week komen er drie meer (zie vorig bericht). Hij schrijft: Er ligt nog veel sneeuw, soms wel een meter, maar vandaag heeft het hard gedooid, in de 5 uur dat ik hier nu ben is 2/3 van de tundra rondom Solvatnet gesmolten. Er is ook nog fast ice in het fjord. Vandaag is de eerste beer sinds ~2 weken gezien op Observasjonsholmen. De welkom en safety instructions van AWIPEV waren weer goed.
